If you're planning a visit to Norwalk, Connecticut, either to visit friends or family you haven't seen in a while or as part of a cricket club retreat, you better get yourself prepared for a fun time. There is a lot to see and do while you're in Norfolk. So make sure to leave plenty of time in your schedule for Norwalk recreation activities and events. If you've never been to Norwalk before you don't know what you're getting yourself into.
So let us be sort of a tour guide for you and your post card printing company employees as you enjoy your stay in Norwalk and recommend some things to see and do while you're in Norwalk. If you're traveling with kids you're going to want to check out either the Stepping Stones Museum for Children or the Maritime Aquarium. Each one offers fun but educational experiences for kids. Like a demonstration on how to feed seals at the aquarium or a simulated helicopter ride at the museum. You might want to bring an extra pair of cloth diaper covers for your child just in case the helicopter ride is too extreme for them. No matter how fake it is.
If you're a sports and outdoors type of person then we suggest heading on down to the Norwalk Islands and taking part in an exciting 6 hour kayak tour adventure. Ride the waves of the Norwalk Islands in a kayak that is provided with your fees. If kayaking is too extreme for you and you just want to enjoy the weather while still being active you could go golfing. A couple of courses you might want to check out are the Oak Hills Park Golf Course and the Silvermine Golf Club. Each offer their own unique golfing experience but you're going to have to tee off from each course to see which one you prefer.
If shopping is what you're really into then you can't leave Norwalk without visiting Boone's Antiques. It's home to one of the largest antique shops on the East Coast. If you've been struggling to find an item, there's a high probability that Boone's Antiques will have it. If not they will try their hardest to order one in for you and ship to your home. They might not be a fancy shopping mall where you can walk away winning a car raffle sweepstakes but they offer a much more intimate shopping experience.
As you can see, you most definitely have your hands full during your stay in Norwalk as these are just some of the things you can get up to while visiting Norwalk with your hockey camps. |
